I'm Goin!

Hello there everyone....it's not like me to comment again so soon but I wanted to update you all on the Deeper Still Conference....so no one else buys the ticket (2 already have!)

I happen to be a Princess of our Heavenly Father (The One True King) and although it seemed as though My Father said "no", I have 6 other princess friends who stamped their feet and pouted to God for me and He sent one of them to me this morning to tell me I could go! I received phone calls and emails about ways to get tickets. One of the moms is taking care of getting the ticket so I booked my flight to Atlanta and I am on my way.

A total of 7 moms.....representing 8 babies.....although my stomach turns that I have this in common with these ladies, I am encouraged in so many different ways.

Because we found out about Jacob after he was born, I haven't had much time to read up on these babies, until now....I knew of them and read posts here an there but never dove into their lives....because they all made themselves known to me through Jacob's' blog and I visited briefly to become mildly familiar with them. But they all know me...they know everything about the last 5 months! And I am excited to learn more about them and where they are now. I am the newest member to this stinky club and I have lots to learn and there will be a pool full of wisdom to draw from. I am exited. Thank you ladies!

Karen

Oh good! Karen, I'm so glad to see someone else had my idea. If I were in the US I'd totally have been on the phone with the Conference organizers explaining why they had to find another folding chair! I hope you have a good time - a chance to refresh and reflect. I get to go to a conference this weekend, and I'm hoping it's a beginning of healing for me. Xo!

Karen, I am so happy that you get to go to your convention!
I just want you to know that I have read Jacobs blog for quit some time now. I think that through Jacobs blog, it abled me to be a better person. Made me realize the power of prayer, the power of a higher being, (although I CAN NOT LIE, I still struggle w/the "why" question...)
Your blog inspires me to be a better mother, a better person, and a better christian. When I feel like I have just about had enough w/ my little ones something always brings me to your blog... I then look at everything a little different. I have patience again, and dont care about the little things as much, and instead of yelling I talk, or ask for a kiss and just appreciate them.
So for what ever it is worth thank you, thank you for making me want to be a better mother to my children, and for remembering to never, ever take them for granted. Thank you for helping me feel connected w/God again, and thank you for sharing your life w/ me.
I will Con't to pray for your family. Have a safe and wonderful trip. God Bless.

Oh Karen,

God sure loves his Princesses and the perfect number of 7 of you. I can't wait to read the seven different accounts of the weekend on all of your posts. I am so happy to hear this and I know you all will be so blessed.

This is exactly what I prayed for. I just knew that this couldn't be the end of that part of your story, and that there had to be a ticket floating around there somewhere with your name on it. May you be blessed with sweet fellowship, and may you all be a balm to each other's hearts. Have a safe trip!

Hey Karen!

It's always exceptionally awesome to know, and to be reassured, time and time again...that God has His hand on you and He holds your every moment, especially in those times when we feel the pull of Satan getting the best of us. Keep up your armor, wear your belt buckle proudly...:)

I was invited to the Deeper Still conference too but that is my triplets' birthday so I will be there in spirit only. God bless you ladies. I know your pain and the emptiness you are feeling. Madeline's first b-day just passed and I still hurt...it is just not as raw.

Have a wonderful time bonding with these ladies who have walked in your shoes. I wish I could be with you too.

Karen,
So glad you get to go on that trip! You deserve some "me" time. You have given yourself so selflessly in your care of Jacob. You go and have a good time and fellowship with others that know exactly how you feel.

I'm so glad you are able to make this trip, adn I wish you peace, healing, and comfort.

I want to share this verse with you, which has helped me in my own personal loss

2 Corinthians 1
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. 6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. 7 Our hope for you is unshaken; for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.
