Day 95!

Well "Hello!" to another beautiful day that God has given to us! This morning me and the boys hung out while Mommy got some much needed rest. It was such a beautiful spring day that Joshua and Jonathan just couldn't wait to go outside and I couldn't wait to sleep some more! So while I took a nap my brothers went and played in the woods and Daddy got down to work on our "Magic Clubhouse," as my brothers like to call it. Thank you "Magic Tax Return!" Daddy spent a better part of the morning and early afternoon working on the playset, and the sun spent a better part of the morning and early afternoon cooking Daddy's bald head and arms! Who would've thought that you would need sunscreen 4 days after it had snowed! :) Anyways, Daddy looks like a lobster now! But check out the Magic Clubhouse.... it's coming along! Daddy can't have all the credit though.... just like Jonathan had requested before we bought the playground, today we all worked on it together as a family. Daddy needed help attaching the roof supports and Mommy was out there in her PJ's, Joshua and Jonathan were helping hold, find and retrieve parts for Daddy and I was chilling in my stroller enjoying the fresh air! I think I like sleeping outside... maybe when I get bigger I can sleep out in the Magic Clubhouse... Mommy's just waiting for the day when my brothers ask to take their sleeping bags out there and camp out!
Once us boys were done outside, we came in for a little rest before heading to our friends house....Miss Stephanie made us dinner and us boys played with Ian and Zachary. It was a great night....Zachary just loved seeing the real me....he usually gets to see me on the computer when Miss Stephanie checks in on me. We had a great evening....they older boys were playing with these screaming balloons so I tried to chime in a little bit. Then for some reason unknown to me, my tummy hadn't eaten up my food from my previous feed and almost all of it was still in my tummy when it was time to eat. Mommy called Miss Ann Marie, my nurse, and she instructed Mom on how to get me back on track....it worked pretty good. We have backed off a little bit on the amount of the feedings just to play it cautiously. I'll bounce back, Lord willing, like I always do.

Day 94!

So I slept pretty good last night...5 hours straight....just not when it was Mommy's bed time. I just cannot train her to get to bed at 8...she says its too early for her and she has to catch up on her day....I tell her to take it or leave it....she leaves it and then doesn't like it when I am up every 3 hours in the middle of the night. We spent some time outside today. Dad was getting some of the playground together and needed Mom's help. Check out the pics! Not bad for the first real half-day of construction, huh? Busia drove out here to visit me....I slept the whole time. I had to head out with Mom and Dad to go to the doctors, so she stayed with Joshua and Jonathan. Here's a pic of what I look like in my car seat... I hate it. Everytime. I pretty much just scream the entire car ride! The doctor had good things to say.....have I told you how much I love my doctor....he's great. He said my color looks a lot better which is great! We are going to resume the regular Ursodiol doses and increase my Zantac since I am getting bigger....OH! I didn't tell you my weigh in number.....YOu rEaDy??? 5 pounds 10 ounces! Here I am on the scale! I'm gaining! I've gained 2 pounds 1 ounce since leaving the hospital....I'm creeping in on 6! :) So the doctor says he thinks that my nausea is more to the fact that I have a tube in my throat and most babies spit up without that. So since I am not puking like my whole feed and just spitting a little bit, we are not too concerned about it. I guess I'm ok with that but it still is upsetting my tummy...maybe the increased Zantac will help....sometimes I feel like a lab rat! But you know what.....these people sure know what they are doing out here since they have kept me going for this long...THANK THE LORD!....seriously...thank you GOD! If they are just guessing, they need to play the lotto 'cause we are beating the odds here ladies and gentlemen. So then I hung out outside in my stroller with Busia a bit before we headed in for some serious snuggle time. Now, I am not sure if you have someone who is just the best to snuggle with, but second to Mom, Busia is the BEST! Around my house, we call her "The Queen of Comfy." I think there is a "comfy chromosome" and Busia has 3 of those!...she's got "Tri-comfy 18" :) I slept and slept...didn't even care to eat.....Mom is in some trouble tonight....but when isn't she?? Busia held me which was a huge help to mom....she got dinner ready, ate and cleaned up, pumped and some all while Busia had me. That's a big help. So now I'm just going to chill with Mom and my brothers.

Thanks so much for checking in on me....you guys are the greatest. Oh, did I mention that I polished off my second can of formula? Hoo-Ha! I'll have some pics tomorrow.....ok?

Day 93!

SO you all loved the pics huh!??! Well I will have to get you my 2 month ones I hadn't posted...they are pretty cute too. Here they are, so enjoy! We love the professional ones in our home the best but Mom always got Joshua and Jonathan's done an JCPenneys so she wanted to do the same for me....inexpensive photo packages...can't go wrong.

So my tummy seems to be feeling better. I still have this whole crazy gagging thing that happens about an hour after I eat. But don't most babies spit up?!?!? I am only getting half my dose of Ursodiol now so we have to keep an eye on my poop....see if it changes color again....my poop does some amazing things.

Miss Kristen came over....she is an Occupational Therapist. She is going to help out with my bottle feeding (to see if it is a realistic goal) as well as work with my hands a bit. We'll see how it all goes in a few weeks...we were just introducing ourselves this week.

Gramma brought Joshua home and then hung out a bit.

I finished off my second can of formula to fortify Mom's milk! I'm feeling better and hungrier....I woke Mom every 3 hours to eat. Gotta pack on the pounds for my big weigh in tomorrow. Talk to you then.
